Arantxa Mendiharat
Arantxa Mendiharat studied political sciences in Bordeaux, and then specialized in arts management at the University of Paris 8 and the Heriot-Watt University of Edinburgh. She has worked in numerous artistic productions in Spain and Great Britain in the field of dance, theatre, cinema and visual arts. She worked as coordinator of studies in cultural and linguistic regional planning at the Council for Development of the Basque Country (France), from 1996 to 1998. She worked at PhotoEspaña Photography Festival as exhibitions coordinator in La Fábrica (Madrid) from 2000 to 2003. She is currently coordinator of the Disonancias project and in charge of the Xabide Group's office in Donostia - San Sebastián (Spain). Disonancias is a programme of international visual artists' placements in industry and research labs in the Basque country.
